Kerala is an Indian state in the southwestern corner of the country. Endowed with amazing natural beauty and kept pristine by local governments and people who do much to maintain cleanliness, it is a truly unique place. Within a hundred kilometers of each other you find phenomenal beaches, backwaters, historic sites, hills, and mountains.
In the photos are Mayank, one of my college roommates (the only one I have not yet disowned), and Sohum, a friend from Atlanta.
